Meet Tricia Caracappa
Tricia Caracappa is an abstract and impressionist artist inspired by nature, movement, and joy. An intuitive painter, Tricia’s artistic practice is rooted in curiosity and play. Layers of beautiful colors and energetic brushstrokes invite viewers to move up close with curiosity and to step back with wide eyes. Tricia believes in the power of art as a beautiful reminder to choose happiness and to live in the present.
Tricia earned a BS from Providence College as well as an interior design degree from Parsons School of Design. After dedicating twenty years to a global financial firm, Tricia left corporate for the creative, a passion of hers for as long as she can remember. Her work as an interior designer fueled her intensity and passion for her artistic practice. Tricia’s art has been exhibited in solo and group shows, earning a place in private collections across the country. She currently serves on the board of the Katonah Museum of Artists’ Association.
Tricia lives with her family in Katonah, New York and creates from her charming studio tucked into the 19th century brick lined Yellow Monkey Village in Cross River, New York.
