The Creative Process

I began by photographing flowers during a walk along the water. From there, I painted my memory of that experience—not just the flowers, but the grasses, trees, sky, and the overall feeling of being there.

I then digitized the paintings and, using Photoshop, creatively layered elements of my original floral photographs back into each composition. Each piece was individually developed, blending photography and painting in a way that feels both familiar and dreamlike.

After printing, I added a final hand-worked element to each piece, making every one unique. Of the two pieces you have, one incorporates mesh and the other colored pencil.  Both are presented with an 8mm white mat in a natural wood frame.
