The Creative Process

I began by photographing flowers during a walk along the water. From there, I painted my memory of that experience—not just the flowers, but the grasses, trees, sky, and the overall feeling of being there.

I then digitized the paintings and, using Photoshop, creatively layered elements of my original floral photographs back into each composition. Each piece was individually developed, blending photography and painting in a way that feels both familiar and dreamlike.

After printing, I added a final hand-worked element to each piece, making every one unique. Of the two pieces you have, one incorporates mesh and the other colored pencil. Please remember, I have 2 others that belong to this same set if you need them:) 

Both are presented with an 8mm white mat in a natural wood frame.
